How to Deep Clean Your House Fast

Are you looking for some tips to give your house an emergency deep clean? You’ve come to the right place. Keeping your home tidy and clean is more important than ever, with everyone ramping up hygiene levels. So, here is our ultimate guide to help you give your home a rigorous deep clean, with some top tips to help you do so in as little time as possible.

The kitchen

Let's start with the hub of the home. The kitchen is where you spend time preparing food and sharing time with friends and family. Therefore, it is important to keep this space especially clean. The kitchen is full of hidden grease and bacteria which needs to be deep cleaned every so often. Although many of us clean the kitchen fairly often, it is places like the stove and fridge which often get missed. Our E-Cloth Kitchen Cloth is ideal for cleaning all these kitchen surfaces whilst using just water. The cloth is brilliant for removing grease and dirt and removes over 99% of bacteria. Our cloth is perfect if you're looking for a no chemical, deep cleaning product for the kitchen.

The bedroom

Bedrooms are by no means the dirtiest room in the house, but it is still vital to keep the area you sleep in clean. Every single bed usually has millions of tiny dust mites, and although you can't see them, they can cause irritation and trigger allergies. It is a good idea to give your bed sheets a wash at least once a week to fight the growth of dust and microscopic bugs. Another quick tip is to air your duvet every day. You can do this for five minutes whilst making your bed every morning, so it won't make a great change to your morning routine.

The bathroom

It’s time to move onto the grubbiest room of them all, and you guessed it, it's the bathroom. The bathroom is a hotspot for bacteria, yet can be cleaned easily with the right choice of products. You can clean the bathroom with an environmentally friendly option, an E-Cloth Bathroom Cloth. With long fibres designed to remove scum and grime, you can successfully remove over 99% of bacteria with the cloth and some water. When cleaning your bathroom, always ensure you clean hard-to-reach areas as well as your shower curtain. A shower curtain is actually a breeding place for bacteria, so soak it overnight in some bleach to kill any dirt.

The living room

And finally, the living room. This is where many of us like to spend our time, and it is therefore deserving of a thorough deep clean. Most dirt is hidden under the sofa, so have a shuffle and prioritise this area if you haven't already done so. You will also need to move any sofa cushions, and vacuum beneath them to remove any crumbs or dust which has fallen. It is vital to clean small objects, such as the remote control and your lamps. These items are touched pretty much every day, and can, therefore, carry an abundance of bacteria. When it comes to cleaning your living room mirror, we suggest doing so with a microfibre cloth to prevent streaks. Our Glass & Polishing Cloth is perfect for this and will leave your mirror exceptionally clean and streak-free.
